Most of you would by now be well aware of the merger and rebrand which our Major Strategic Partner AWA Alliance Bank underwent earlier this year with Beyond Bank Australia.

The AWA brand has now been fully discontinued across all settings, including our playing and training uniforms, off-field apparel and physical and digital signage around both Winter Reserve and the club’s digital platforms.

While the Beyond Bank rebrand has represented a significant visible change around the club, virtually all other aspects of our Strategic Partnership agreement have remained very much the same as under the highly successful eight-year iteration of the agreement which existed under the AWA umbrella.

Both Beyond Bank and the club were thrilled to announce a three-year continuation of our Strategic Partnership agreement earlier this year, and this will continue to form a vital plank of our overall strategic direction for the foreseeable future.

We have delivered some outstanding capital works projects under the previous iteration of the agreement, and in conjunction with Beyond, we are looking forward to making significant further enhancements to the Winter Reserve facilities for all EBCC members over the coming years.

In order to achieve this, we will rely on the continued support of our members to engage with Beyond and explore opportunities to make use of their products and services. Many of our members already bank with Beyond, who have a terrific track record of delivering outstanding financial outcomes for their members.

Representatives of Beyond will be on hand this evening following senior men’s training at Winter Reserve, for an informal presentation aimed at officially launching the Beyond Bank brand at EBCC, and introducing their range of products and services, as well as their vision and messaging for making a difference to the Geelong community.

We encourage all of our members to be present this evening from 7pm, for some valuable insights into how banking with Beyond can deliver a substantial win-win for both you and your family, as well as your club.

Beyond will be putting on a free BBQ dinner for all in attendance. As such, Jan’s meals will be taking a one-week hiatus this week but will return next Thursday.
